So our main character has hunted at one of her fears...well screamed them in actual fact. Dolls. Not just any doll...you guessed it. Porcelain dolls. She's also scares of dark closets/cupboards.
Now it's really easy to visualise this but I'm finding it nice and challenging conveying this into.words. It's happening but I'll have to wait for reviews before I know if a rewrite ia needed. Plus it's only the beginning of the mind games.
I was very surprised that you should, as an author, tell the reader what the characters fear. It makes the reader wonder when will she see a spider, if she were scares of them. Of, what could a spider do, how will a spider play in this story.
Like Batman no? We all know batman is Bruce Wayne, as a reader/viewer you wonder and want to know how he can manage/live with this duality. The mind games have begun. I do like the mind games, I've never been brave enough to write them....Until now.
Don't forget that I am active on twitter again. @NightshadesTear thank you for reading lovelies
Tatty bye 👋
